Find answers to common questions about our innovative water generation technology

Hawana water systems transform humidity from vapor phase to liquid phase through an innovative process that is much more efficient than legacy atmospheric water generators (AWGs).

No. Hawana systems pull water directly from the humidity present in the air. You don’t need a tap or a plumbing line, just plug the unit into electricity and it starts generating clean drinking water as long as the ambient humidity is above 30%.

Today, Hawana offers three different models:

The Spring Model, made for residential or small office use weighs 13kg for 44cm x 26cm x48cm. It produces up to 12L per day (0.5L per hour) and is equipped with a 3.8L internal tank.

The Oasis Model, made for professional non-industrial use weighs 15kg for 122x62x50cm It produces up to 20L per day (0.8L per hour) and is equipped with a 20L internal tank.

The Cascadia line of products is designed for commercial or industrial use. They can produce from 240L to 3000L, contact us to discuss custom commercial solutions.

Yes, the Hawana Water systems produce distilled water that is safe to drink. The system pulls outside air through a HEPA filter and condenses the humidity into pure distilled water, which is continuously sterilized with UV light in the storage tank. Our state-of-the-art filtration system consists of three cartridges that further purify the water via Carbon Block and Ultra Fine Membrane filtration which adds essential minerals and delivers a balanced pH. A second UV sterilization module is also incorporated into the dispensing spout to ensure the purest water possible as it pours into your glass.

To maintain optimal water quality, we recommend replacing both the HEPA air filter and the water filter cartridges approximately every 2,000 liters, and a “change filter” light will appear on your control panel reminding you to replace your water and air filters. Please refer to the user manual for more information about filter replacement.

All components involved in distillation, storage, filtration, and dispensing are fully compliant with internationally recognized IEEE standards, including CE, CB, and Class T certifications. These rigorous standards are the same required for bottled water companies, ensuring the highest levels of safety, reliability, and quality in every step of our Hawana water machines production and dispensing.

The internal chiller is designed to maintain a temperature from 12 to 16°C (53 to 61°F) of the water tank. The real-time water temperature is also shown on the machine’s display panel.
